In Singapore we are very lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing venues to host our events. Regardless of what event managers are looking for, Singapore is bound to have a venue that will surely impress your guests and add that extra special touch to your event. We have been hunting high and low to bring you some of Singapore’s most unique and jaw-dropping venues. There are so many to choose from, but here are 10 of our favourites that we have recently had the pleasure of visiting.

  1. W Singapore Sentosa Cove

The W Singapore Sentosa Cove is a unique oasis, located on an exclusive island that boasts modern and luxurious event spaces that are sure to suit your event management requirements, whatever they may be. Their world-class facilities will bring your event from every day to extraordinary.

Look out for the fairies in the pre function area!

The Great Room (Main Ballroom) is 720sqm and can hold a capacity of up to 540 guests, depending on set up.

  1. Raffles Singapore

Raffles Singapore is the epitome of luxury and history and its classic colonial architecture sets the perfect tone for your upcoming event. Raffles Singapore, the home of the Singapore Sling, is a truly iconic location and whether your guests are local, regional or international, it is sure to leave a lasting impression on all.

Raffles Singapore has had the pleasure of hosting some very esteemed guests such as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Christian Louboutin!

The Ballroom is 344sqm and can accommodate up to 350 guests, depending on set up.

  1. Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands is Asia’s leading destination for business, leisure and entertainment. They have a range of unique and versatile venues that can cater to any event manager’s requirements. Indulge your guests with the ultimate experience when you host your event 57 levels above the heart of the city with breath-taking 360 degree views of Singapore.

Be sure not to miss the nightly light and water show at 8pm and 9:30pm Sunday to Thursday, or 8pm, 9:30pm and 11pm on Friday and Saturday. The lasers that are used in the show can be seen for up to 55 kilometres!

This venue features Southeast Asia’s biggest ballroom – Sands Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate 6,600 people for a banquet and up to 8,000 for an auditorium-style lecture.

  1. Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is sure to have a unique venue that suits your event management needs. From indoor and outdoor venues, to events amongst the flowers, if you are looking for something unique and unforgettable for your guests, Gardens by the Bay is the perfect venue for you.

The Flower Dome covers 1.2 hectares and is as big as 2.2 football fields put together.

The Flower Field Hall is 1,200sqm and can accommodate up to 1,100 guests, depending on set up. The Flower Field hall has an exclusive entrance into the Flower Dome.

  1. National Gallery Singapore

The National Gallery Singapore celebrated its grand opening on November 27th, 2015 and is ideal for event managers who are looking for architectural and historical venues for their events. The Gallery offers a variety of unique spaces that are ideal for hosting a diverse range of events, from conferences to product launches and cocktail events.

Be sure to visit the Ng Teng Fong Roof Garden Gallery and the Padang Deck for stunning views of the Singapore CBD.

The Supreme Court Terrace is 330sqm and can accommodate 130 guests, depending on set up.

  1. Hotel Fort Canning

If you are looking for heritage with a boutique feel, look no further than the Hotel Fort Canning Singapore. Nestled amongst an abundance of lush greenery, this conservation hotel’s timeless elegance is the ideal setting for a spectacular celebration. Its stunning outdoor garden terrace located in front of the Hotel Fort Canning façade, is the perfect venue for your upcoming event.

If you have the time, be sure to visit the hotel’s swimming pools, which are filled with mineral water that is treated using the same system NASA uses for their astronauts!!

The Garden Terrace is an intimate venue and can accommodate up to 80 guests, depending on set up.

  1. Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa

Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa is Singapore’s only beachfront resort that is a stone’s through away from the CBD. They have a wide variety of event venues that event managers can choose from however, what makes them unique is their private beach front; perfect for those who want to wine and dine with their toes in the sand. Alternatively, The Rocks and Barnacles by the Sea offer both indoor and outdoor options and a stunning ocean view.

Be sure to visit around sunset and soak up the view from The Rocks!

Barnacles by the Sea is 322sqm and can accommodate up to 150 guests, depending on set up. The Rocks and its stunning view is an outdoor venue that can accommodate up to 250 guests.

  1. Equinox Restaurant – Swissotel The Stamford

Perched 70 storeys above the centre of Singapore, Equinox Restaurant, located at Swissotel The Stamford, is renowned for its culinary experience and breath-taking views, both day and night. This signature restaurant is one of a kind and ideal for event managers who are looking for a lunch or dinner venue that is sure to impress both local and international guests.

Availability and capacity is subject to restaurant bookings.

  1. PARKROYAL on Pickering

Discover an oasis of green at Singapore’s iconic PARKROYAL on Pickering hotel. Its hotel-in-a-garden concept is a world first and has generated much interest, not only architecturally but also environmentally. PARKROYAL on Pickering’s award winning, versatile and distinctive event facilities, as well as their service excellence, are sure to exceed your event management requirements.

Whilst there, make sure you visit their zero-energy sky gardens which are powered by solar energy.

The William-Pickering Ballroom is 455sqm and can accommodate up to 500 guests, depending on set up.

  1. Capella Singapore

Capella Singapore is a magnificent blend of the old and the new. Built in the 1880s to accommodate British Officers of the Royal Artillery, Capella Singapore is now a fusion of colonial buildings, modern architecture and vibrant rainforest. Amongst their many event venues you will find Singapore’s first and only circular ballroom with a glass-domed skylight, The Grand Ballroom.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the peacocks (you can’t miss them) and if you’re lucky you might be privileged enough to see them on full display!

The Grand Ballroom is 780sqm and can accommodate up to 700 guests, depending on set up.
