The Challenge

For the last 15 years we have hosted the HSBC Economist Roadshow event and every year we are challenged to come up with a fresh approach which allows HSBC to connect with key clients and partners in regional markets, sharing expert regional economic advice and trends for the upcoming year and beyond. Three leading HSBC economists from across the globe travel to the region to share their insights in a 10-day roadshow. One of the greatest challenges of the roadshow was logistically managing the 10-day scheduled to maximise the attendance, networking and results within HSBC’s core target audiences

The Experience

The roadshow covered 6 locations within the GCC in 10 days, including; United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, across each location the event took a slightly different approach, including VIP Dinners, Presentations, Panels and Q&A sessions.

Our remit was end to end event management, including;

• Venue Management – Securing and managing a high-end venues in relied on our market knowledge and relationships

• Production –Co-ordination and quality control of all production and branded elements across 6 cities

• Travel Schedules – organising a seamless travel schedule for each of our speakers throughout the 10 days

• Design – all elements of branding were developed by inhouse design team, including onsite branding, presentations, animations and digital assets

• Production – with our partners across the region we ensured the quality and consistency across all production elements

• Registration – from invitations to guest list management our guest relations team liaised with guests to maximise attendance

• Stage Content and Management – our digital and design team formatted presentations, created transition slides and animations for each presenter. At the event our team controlled the stage content flow and Q&A sessions

• Content Creation – photo and video content was captured at each event and shared with the client within 24 hours of the event closing
