The Challenge

To create an event to inspire key audiences (agency and creators) to use Instagram proactively and consider it for their marketing plans. The event was HOI first event to take place in Riyhad, Saudi Arabia. The event was to bring like minded people together, create connections, whilst support learning and knowledge from the HOI team and their expert speakers.

The Experience

In true House of Instagram style the event needed to feel unique, progressive and create heaps of online conversation across the region, all of course whilst being respectful of local cultures and guests. The event comprised of speaker presentations and panels, interactive activities around the event which allowed guests to network and create cool content.

Our remit was end to end event management, including;

• Concept and Design – all developed by our inhouse design team, including: onsite branding, presentations, activation booths and giveaways

• Branding – throughout the event space guests were transported to the House of Instagram, with bright and standout branding throughout the space and lots of Instagramable spots for guests to take a selfie or two!

• Venue and Supplier Management – Securing and managing a high end delivery within the region can be challenging, with our strong network of suppliers in KSA we were able to deliver quality production and partnerships within tight timeframes

• Communications – Our digital team created the guest communication strategy and execution, including registration platform, email communications and social cards. The communications plan included invites, reminders, new announcements and event countdown to maximise event attendance in a region which is known for a low event attendance

• Stage Content – our in-house content team delivered all stage content, including animated transition slides, presentations and video content all tailored to be relevant to the region

• Reels room – the purpose- built reels booth was one of the highlights of the activations, guests were guided by our brand ambassadors how to create super fun reels to share across their social platforms 

• Local SME’s – In line with HOI brand values we championed local talents and SME’s throughout the event. This was brought to life through partnerships with local SME Artists, Caterers and Entertainers, all of which also had a strong social presence to further amplify the event

• Content Creation – Sharing great content was a key objective for this event, HOI wanted to share the event across socials and get the regional community engaged in the activation. Given the market we had to be aware of photo and video rights, offering guests who didn’t want to feature on any content a wrist bands so they could be easily identified by team. Our in house video and photo team shared photos and video wraps up from the event within 24 hours of the event closing.
